Vintage Beefcakes of Wrestling - Eric Pedersen

Although not a professional wrestler in real life, champion bodybuilder Eric Pedersen played one in the little known film "The Fighting Coast Guard." I'm not sure but I think he plays the arrogant heel that the eponymously-titled hero of this movie has a match with in the movie.

    Eric was surrealistically blond and every-inch handsome.

    Eric Pedersen was a pro wrestler in real life. He beat Bill Melby with a full nelson in two straight falls in Spokane, Washington in Oct. 1951. He was still using the full nelson as his finishing hold in 1959.
