Riley's Return

Recognize the beefcake wrestler in these photos? It's Alex Riley! The last time I watched Riley in a televised NXT match, he was jobbing for NXT up-and-comer Corey Graves. And that was months ago! Nice to see him in action again (did he actually ever stop wrestling? I couldn't find the answer on his Wikipedia page). Thanks to my good friend David for taking these amazing photos last Friday. I hope we see more of Riley very soon.

    Bruno, I just e-mailed you all the matches since that 1.2013 match he lost to Graves. According to Cagematch, he's had 44 since then.

    Great to see Alex Riley back (and I'm loving the not-so-cleancut look) that body was wasted in a suit behind the announcers table.

    Are these photos from an upcoming televised NXT?

      Agree about the body. It was wasted in a suit. Heck' , he's massive now and it's all muscle. Like the new mirco-trunks too.

    Delighted to see that ARY is back. He's really big, now. Don't much care for the beard. Why hide behind that fungus when he's such a handsome man?

    Oh, have I missed those hips and thighs! And I don't mind the beard... more bad boy than frat boy. Besides, if I could get used to Daniel Bryan, I could get used to this.

    The guy has it all. It is a wonder he is not wrestling on TV every week. I recall rumors that he had had some sort of verbal dust-up with Cena, and the jobbing increased after that.
    Anyone find any vids of the 44 documented matches since January 2013?

    Love the look. Solid muscle. I'm not a fan of the beard either. In these "comeback" matches did he wrestle as a heel or a good guy? Heel I hope.
