Will Tino Sabatelli be NXT's big superstar? It's too early to tell, but this we know for sure, he's already one of NXT's best Beefcakes. The first set of photos here are from a good friend of this blog (and longtime contributor) David. David says that Tino "sports a body similar to Mason Ryan in his first few matches; he comes out, boasts about his physique, then gets taken down by the likes of Bull Durham (his opponent in these pics)."

So who is Tino Sabatelli? If you ever followed The National Football League (NFL), you might recognize him as Sabby Piscitelli, a former player for Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cleveland Browns, and Kansas City Chiefs. Sabatelli is 32 years old, stands 6 ft. 3 in. tall and weighs 225 pounds. Here are some pre-NXT pics of this wrestler I can't wait to see more of.

Let's hope he starts to make progress. He could indeed be a star.

ReplyDeleteFrom what I have read in the past, Sabatelli had a terrible NFL career, fraught with bad luck and disastrous moves. His brother wrestles successfully on the indy circuit as Sean Swag or Swagg, not as great a physique, but still a good-looking guy. A shame the famous brother gets the shot at NXT, but not the talented wrestler brother.
For anyone who has the WWE Network, Tino was featured quite a bit in the first episode of a new show called Breaking Ground, which airs right after Monday Night Raw (started Oct 26) and repeats quite a bit through the week. It shows the work and struggle of new wrestlers trying to make it in WWE's NXT brand. He wasn't in the 2nd episode on Nov. 2 quite as much. Also check wwe.com for more info.

ReplyDeleteSean Swag is the champion at American Combat Wrestling out of New Port Ritchie FL. Images are hard to come by, but there are a few. No Cagematch entry and, again no FB. He really doesn't look as impressive as his brother, but he ain't ugly either. I sent photos to bruno
