Mr. December

Why have I not heard of Jason Carrion before? Is my Beefcake Radar getting weak? Good thing I stumbled upon a match on YouTube featuring the aforementioned Carrion. Turns out Carrion used to wrestle using the name Jason Kross, but after becoming a reality TV star in the show "Married At First Sight," he started using his real name. But wait! This guy isn't just a wrestler and reality TV star, he's also a firefighter with the New York Fire Department. How's that for a triple threat? Which brings me to this post's subject title. Carrion is this month's featured firefighter in the 2016 NYFD Calendar. With 3 jobs under his belt, when does this guy sleep? Anyway, I think Jason Carrion makes a fine addition to Beefcakes of Wrestling. You can watch him in action here. Read more about him in this April 2016 article which appeared in Wrestledelphia.

  1. Now, Bruno, I pointed him out in a comment a month or so ago. I realize I was not on topic, but I thought he was worth breaking protocol for. Anon.

    2. Sorry, I'm sure I read it, but with so much going on these days, it must have slipped my mind. Thanks for that.

    3. Welcome. I understand. Actually, I was afraid there was something wrong with him that I wasn't seeing! Anon.

    4. Also not on topic, but it looks like Bruno is quite the beefcake as well. Grats on the body, Bruno, your hard work in the gym has certainly paid off.

    5. Thanks! I'll be 55 years old soon. It's getting harder to stay in shape with every passing year. Can I get an amen?

    6. Amen to that! I hate being old :(

  2. Jason has lotsa potential; however, the match Bruno cited is poorly "grappled" on the part of both wrestlers. In a word, boring. Neither seems to give the other much of a challenge, which is a pity because Jason appears to have the capacity for exquisite suffering. The match ending is a complete mystery to me. One would have hoped to see Jason squashed, but the moment never came. Instead his opponent seems to succumb to a hangnail. TT

    1. Agree, it was a poor ending. Usually that channel has pretty high standards. I did like the clarity of the video, though. Anon.
Try this one, his tag team Higher Society vs Cam Zagami and partner: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPzfSRxguFI

Much, much better wrestled by much more appealing and talented men. If only the photographer didn't have Parkinson's and the ref a skinny arse. Zagami's trunks appear to be cut from the same pattern as Tom Daley's, leaving one to wonder if there be very, very little to cover. When he gets a few years (and inches) under his belt (draw string), Cam may outgrow his Mickey Mouse Club appearance.

Overall the video was well worth watching, and I am grateful for the referral. TT (ps I am smitten by Greene.)

    3. Welcome. Cam always makes me thing of Bob's Big Boy. http://www.bobs.net/
I think it is intentional, but age will cure that, or he will become ultra creepy. Anon.
