I found
this match on YouTube that features a hunky Japanese wrestler fighting a slightly older opponent, however both combatants were not identified...or at least they weren't identified in English. I turned to
Google Translate and found out that the Japanese characters that accompany this clip say -- and I haven't edited this -- "Rookie miss the days of Tanahashi." So what I'd like to know is if the hunky young rookie in this match is Hiroshi Tanahashi before he became one of Japan's most popular mat stars. Can anyone verify this?

I see the similarity...but I can't be sure. |

There are striking similarities, but I can't really tell you if it is him or not. Tanahashi is damn sexy though. Great body.
ReplyDeleteNice body
ReplyDeleteI created a google account just so I could comment lol. Your blog is 1 of my favorites and up until now I've been too lazy to create an account just to comment even though I've been following your blog for awhile now.
ReplyDeleteAnyways after some research I can verify that yes that is indeed Hiroshi Tanahashi. I checked out the name shown in the video at the end as well as the YouTube commenter and it all matches up.
Additional information of the match:
ReplyDeleteTatsuhito Takaiwa beat Hiroshi Tanahashi (9:39) with a Death Valley bomb.
