Monday's Masked Men

This Monday's masked wrestler isn't as huge as the first two who were featured here (Mega Muerte and El Elegido), but he's got a compact, muscular body and a bad-ass attitude. Here he battles Fire Ant in Chikara's "The Cibernetico Rises" show held in New York on November 11. The Shard won this match. I sure would love to see what's underneath that mask. 1. Incredible body's, yes...Incredible talent...yes.
I for one just can't get past the wearing of Masks, whether it be Lucha or a gimmick here in the states. My Love of Pro Wrestling is the Art of the wrestlers in the ring. FACIAL expressions make it work for me. A Jobber Suffering from the Punishment a Heel is administering to him..His face contorted in suffering. A Heel, when working his victim, his face in Pleasure mode as he Punishes, straining muscles, teeth clamped tight indicating his strength in progress. Sorry, but masks hide all of it and it looses me within seconds of the fight beginning. Loose the mask and Im totally into it!!

    1. I get what you're saying, Jobber N Florida. I too like to see the pained or angry expressions on the faces of the wrestlers. Wearing a mask deprives the audience of such spectacle. However, the mask forces the viewer to focus on the wrestler's body. And that kinda makes it hot for me.

  2. I love a match in which the heel is masked and the jobber, not. I agree with" JOBBER N FLORIDA"...there's NOTHINg quite as AROUSING as watching a match in which "the jobber's face is contorted in suffering." I actually PREFER to have at least one wrestler in a mask - preferably long "ULTRA TIGHT" tights too; what can I say...I LOVE a BIG PACKAGE!

    1. For me, the mask works on the sufferer for a little while, kind of like the superhero being dominated at the hands of the villainous heel... but I can't help wondering about the face behind the mask, so I can imagine those eyes glassy and jaw slacked, as he floats into a senseless stupor... oh yes...
