Abs-olute Jobbers?

Longtime contributor and good friend of this blog David made an observation about NXT and its beefcake wrestlers. "Any wrestler with a good set of abs seems to be automatically put in the jobber role in NXT," he writes. To illustrate his point, David sent in a few photos he took at the NXT events he's been to. Look at these pics of Anthony Nese, Tino Sabatelli, Riddick Moss, and a couple of others who don't often win their matches and tell us what you think.

    Any idea who the bearded guy third from the bottom is?

      Third from the bottom is Andrade "Cien" Almas, formerly known as La Sombra in CMLL/NJPW.

    Tony Nese has the skills to become NXT Champion. He just needs a push. I was hoping Neville might have used him as a foil rather than MJP.
    Moss and Sabbatelli have enormous potential. They also need a push.
    All these guys are too good just to be jobbers.

    Tino or Riddick are good, but need to go their separate ways, Vince needs to push them in single matches, where they could shine, both play the heel to the max.
