Here's another new face in NXT. Huge 28 year old former football player Dan Matha (6 ft. 7. in, 290 pounds) joined the WWE organization back in September 2015 as part of the Tough Enough cast. Longtime contributor to this blog David took a batch of photos of him at a recent NXT show (see photos 1-5). Thanks for the pics, David! You can read more about Matha in this article from June 22, 2016.

Oh, to be the rubber duckie in that tub...
ReplyDeleteIs that a rubber duckie or are you just happy to see me? Anon.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I believe that is Steve Cutler as the opponent in the first batch of pics. A shame how they are using him to put over guys who haven't even made it to the NXT tapings yet. Doesn't bode well for him. Anon.
ReplyDeleteOmg. You are amazing David. You are amazing Bruno. I'm so grateful for the inside scoop of all these hot up-and-coming men.
ReplyDeleteJust check out those tree trunk core and quads in that first pic. That is as solid a man as any.
I admit my wandering eye wants to know who his hapless opponent is too (edit: wow great timing Anon). Check out pic 4/12. I love seeing Cutler worked over like that, but if it means his career is stagnant, that's a bummber :/
OK,
ReplyDeleteI just swooned, fainted, and wet my pants - all at the same time - over the mere thought of Mr. Matha.
Thank you Bruno!
DAMN! That's a man and a half! Any videos of him?
ReplyDeleteMatha, unfortunately, is in that limbo zone (like Tino Sabatelli, Hugo Knox, etc.): he is on the NXT roster, but since he is not considered quite ready for TV yet, he only appears in live house shows and photos. A match vid would have to come from an audience member, and I haven't found any. Anon.
