Muscle Monday : Adrian Severe

Another Beefcake of Wrestling regular has joined WWE's Cruiserweight Classic (along with Anthony Nese, Tristan Archer, Kota Ibushi, and several others). German wrestler Adrian Severe goes by the name Fabian Aichner in this special tournament for wrestlers under 220 pounds. Watch him in his WWE Cruiserweight Classic match against Jack Gallagher here. Severe has really made a huge transformation since his early days. Check out the last picture at the bottom of this post to see what I mean.

With Marius Al-Ani

With Mason Ryan

  1. Severe is looking really good. I remember losing interest in him when he became bald but wow. He's definitely bring an Oliver John or Stone Cold vibe now.

And check out that pick with him and Mason Ryan where he let's slip a smile. Super adorable as well. What a perfect combo of a man.

So is this WWE Cruiserweight thing still going on? I know Archer got knocked out early and I think he's back in France now. There were definitely a lot of indy guys, many favs from here, doing it and I wonder how they fared or are faring.

And now this is off-topic, but I'm revisiting this match between Matt Stryker and Chad Collyer. This has got to be one of the all-time hottest matches ever!

    1. Wait, disregard that. For some reason I thought the vid you posted was 9 minutes.

    2. Despite having been infatuated with this match, I'm surprised I never delved further with these two guys. There's quite a few. I've even unearthed one with the infamous Dick Rick.

  2. Unlike Eli, I've never been able to get over the bald, Orton-wannabe look. I miss the earlier Severe.

    1. Yes, Severe has gone through a few body changes, probably normal high/low body fat periods, and glad to see him ripped again, but I do miss the hair. Anyone find the full-length match? It's been a few weeks, hate to spoil my enjoyment by watching the 2 min. highlights. Anon.

  3. Agree w/JM that bald is "bad," maybe because I am naturally bald.
Another casualty of nature and/or the razor is Antonio Cesaro, whose appeal to me went with his hair.
I still have some mistrust for the WWE Cruiser Weight thing because I fear that they will siphon off the best of the indies and then WWE-ize them into the Borg wrestlers they seem to prefer. Nothing "wrong" with the Borg, mind you. It's just that they are seldom my cup of tea.
And not all WWE wrestlers seem to have been assimilated, e.g. Z Ryder, A Riley, sometimes D Ziggler, usw.
Keep up the good work, Bruno--thanks.

  4. I saw old pics of Cesaro with hair and I honestly prefer him bald. He pulls it off, and I know I wouldn't give a hot damn if a guy with a body like that didn't have hair. I'd shave it and shine it up for him lol

    1. Of course I agree that Cesaro has some fine moves, especially when he is enveloping Alex Riley as though he were a squid with the beautiful Alex entrapped within his tentacles. Bald is quite pleasing in that and similar instances. TT
