A Humble and Loyal Valet

How many male valets in pro wrestling can you name? I always thought valets had to be female because their role in pro wrestling was to be the eye candy that the (presumably) heterosexual male fans could gaze upon (and maybe even fantasize about). But here comes Eric St. Vaughn who describes himself as "a humble and loyal valet to the male model Ashley Vuitton." Like Vuitton, Chicago-based Eric is affiliated with Resistance Pro Wrestling, Billy Corgan's wrestling company. I don't think he's actually wrestled yet, but I think his ultimate goal is to be on the roster of Resistance Pro and see action with its other stars. Maybe one day we'll get to see him make his dream come true.

The valet and his master.

St. Vaughn has also competed in bodybuilding contests.

  1. In the 80s I believe most valets were men. The women valets are a more recent phenomenon. However many wrestlers used to have women companions in various roles, but rarely as valets. Like this guy many valets used their position as a stepping stone into the ring and many were very successful.

    1. You're right, Almatolmen. I forgot about Virgil, Ted "The Million Dollar Man" DiBiase's valet who eventually went on to wrestle in singles competition for WWF back in the 1980s. Women like Sherri Martel and Miss Elizabeth were managers and not valets, right?

  3. I've always been a fan of Ashton Vuitton, but how hot is Vaughn too.

When I started watching wrestling in the late 80s there seemed to be more male (and female) valets ..often they would end up wrestling themselves in matches too

  4. I don't know if he was technically considered a valet, but one of the Daivaris used to accompany Mohammed Hassan to the ring when he was in the WWE. I especially remember because I had no idea how hot he was until he started wrestling for TNA.

  5. You're right Jedda, and that was Shawn who was the valet. It is true that none of us knew how hot he was until he started taking off his clothes and wrestling. Speaking of which lots of luck to this stud, and hope to see him wrestling in the ring soon.
