Muscle Monday : Hugo Knox

Goodbye, polka dot trunks and kneepads. Hello, latex-like low-cut trunks! Hugo Knox is sporting new ring gear and I dare say it's a big improvement. The branding on the waist band is a great marketing strategy to boot! Is WWE/NXT prepping him for bigger things? Apparently, fans have been saying that Knox has a new character so I'm guessing he's a heel now. If I'm correct, I think it suits him better. The first three photos in this set were taken by longtime-contributor and a very good friend of this blog, David (thanks for the awesome pics, David!). The others were taken from Knox's Twitter page and other sites.

Knox is also sporting some new ink on his back.

Knox's previous look.

When he wasn't rocking the polka dots,
Knox was in stripes.

And this, boys and girls, is how you get on Muscle Monday.

  1. I concur w/Bruno that Knox has much better appeal in his glossy black, yellow trimmed trunks. They draw attention to the "source" of his power without distracting from it. The sketchy tatts and protective knee pads remain problems because they draw attention away from the overall focus: that of competent but not cocky strength. My wish list now includes a Masters-Knox match; whereas, before, the polka dots (and the stripes) made such a contest seem uninteresting. Imagine those two trading bear-hugs and full nelsons back and forth. I swoon to contemplate. TT

    1. Wow funny how such a possibility never occurred. Fuckin hot indeed. See Hugo? This is opening doors for you. Opening them really really wide lol

  2. Right you are, Bruno! In a much more minor improvement, Austin Theory eliminated his man bun.
Maybe some of this is due to the influence of this blog? I've noticed that when I Google for my favorite wrestlers, BoW hits usually occupy most of the first few pages. Anon.

  3. Haha, well I guess this confirms how unstoppable we all knew he'd become.

  4. Knox is phenomenal. Handsome, sexy, and built. Sadly, for me, all that pointless ink diminishes him greatly.

The effect is the same as if some thug were to spray paint gang graffiti all over the original Mona Lisa.

The fourth photo from the top - his back looks like he's covered with sores.

Why do such beautiful men destroy such God given perfection? I will never understand :(

  5. A great improvement, although Hugo is so beautiful that he can carry most things off; even polka-dots. I agree about the tattoos. Why do men like that do it? Randy Orton has spoiled a beautiful physique in the same way. Must be some sort of fetish. I live in hope of seeing all of Hugo one day.

    1. Agreed. Fortunately, in the right light it isn't too hard to ignore them, but still.
I have the same distaste for the long, stringy, wet/oily hair look. It seems to be some teen boy's fantasy of not having to shower. Do some people really like that? Anon.

  6. On second look, I don't think I've seen the stripes before. The trunks also look shiny latexy like the new black ones. I wonder when the stripes came about.

The stripes make his bulge more prominent. Anyone notice that?

Also, I gotta say, these trunks are the lowest cut trunks I've ever seen on any wrestler. Part of it is that strip around the waist which makes it seem smaller. I just feel like I could grab the sides of those trunks with one hand. Oh man, if only I could ...

    1. Briefest in the WWE, at least. Yes, that strip makes them both more secure and look insecure at the same time. Anon.

  7. I think the white boots are holding his look back. If he got some black ones it would amp his look even more.
