Nice specimen. He probably has well developed legs & calves.... so why are they covered up with long black pants? Or tights, or whatever you call them.
Well, that's something fairly new for him. Yet, even with the tights, he still looks amazing after all these years. Anon.
Until recently VC wore very brief black trunks. See earlier Beefcakes of Wrestling posts. He has great legs and a good bulge. He has been stripped once or twice by mischievous opponents; No deficiency there. No-one understands why he has recently covered up, unless his last pantsing was a bit too traumatic, or he thinks that being bare makes him look like a jobber, or possibly he has got bored with being a sex-symbol, which he certainly was.
My theory is that he's added something to his leg tattoo that some people may find offensive. If you look back to when he still wore trunks, you'll see a tat on his upper right thigh (I can't make out what it is). My other theory is, he feels like he needs to cover up now that he's getting older.
Rather, I think, as we grow older, the less we worry about public indiscretions, that is, covering them up. For example when necessary I avail myself of the privilege which comes with age, that of farting in public. As to covering some body mark, I always wondered what a man who habitually wore a shirt in the ring didn't want us to see--maybe a surgical scar, or whatever. I remember one wrestler, but not his name, from the indy circuit maybe 25 - 30 years ago, a young, well muscled man, if slender, with significant pecs, but who had a serious anomaly--one of his prominent nipples was quite asymmetrically placed than the other--blatantly, so that it was distracting--at least to me. I never quite got why he didn't wear a shirt of some sort, except that his heel opponents inevitably applied a then common "nerve hold," "the claw," to his "good" nipple, which gave rise to cries of agony and loss of control of arm and leg muscles.I, for one, wouldn't mind seeing various versions of the claw brought back in more common usage this day and time. And you?TT
Pec claws in theory are dramatic and hot. To me though, I just can't suspend my disbelief that the victim wouldn't have the strength to punch his attacker in the face.Yeah, I definitely wonder why he covers up. Interesting theory about a new or expanded tattoo, but my guess is he's just wanting a new look. Perhaps to cover up more as he's getting older.
I suspect it might be an age thing. Although we tend to lose our inhibitions as we age, Capri has been a wrestling "Adonis" for so long (he is now in his 40s!), it would be reasonable to assume that he is a bit vain and feels more secure covering up--mid-life crisis? Maybe he has problems with drafts when he gats all sweaty. Anon.
Hey 2nd Anonymous (is that you Anon?), how do you know about these matches where he gets pantsed?
No, credit to a different Anonymous. But, come to think of it, I have seen such a match, Capri vs Marshe Rockett, who is also blogworthy. See here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dW93hp3Ka4kThere is also a rematch, if you do an easy search. Anon.
Fuckkkkk ... the things I would to this man. Seeing that purple waiststring pop out in that last pic is giving me all sorts of ideas ...I seriously can't believe Vic would have a small pecker. I think he's just packed it for protective purposes. Though I suppose I could be in denial, haha.
Look at all these queens making excuses for their king Capri...Gurls, please. The world was subjected to "Nature Boy" Rick Flair in his trunks well past middle age so Capri has no excuse!I boot this look. Next!
Like to think Capri holds himself to a higher standard, he always did. And sorry, Flair would have been improved only if he had worn a caftan and a bag over his head; even in his prime he was a dog's dinner compared to Capri. Anon.
Lmfao. So true re: Flair. Eli and I have had this talk before.Having said that, y'all have to let your faves go eventually. I'm always mildly horrified when I come across aging wrestling enthusiast queens on YouTube and their playlists are full of flabby, past-their-prime wrestlers. You can imagine them performing this while adding the videos to their lists: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQw_20NTLqMListen, gurls. Many of us have fallen for a silver daddy. I used to have a crush on freaking Richard Gere. But once he got old old I got over him. Now Capri still looks pretty good but this new look is a major dealbreaker and the time to say goodbye is drawing nearer. Seems some of you are still in the denial stage.(P.S. If I'm still salivating over Mexx on here when he's like, 60, Bruno can ban me from this blog.)
Haha, I thought this convo sounded familiar JM. You really like to bring up Flair when people are dogging on our Vic huh?I agree with playlists of old flabby wrestlers. There were some yahoogroups dedicated to just that and I could never understand. At the same time, it's kind of harsh to think about just dropping people just because of age isn't it? Who will love us when we're old?!
I am just fascinated by the reasoning that goes behind some of the choices wrestlers make, and the short trunks vs tights thing just makes me wonder. Maybe there is no reasoning. Although, if you'll indulge my beating a dead horse, I noticed that Capri was wearing a mask in that match and using a fake luchador name. He pulled it off during the match. So, in the end, Bruno was right. He proabably wore the tights to cover up a tattoo that would have id'ed him. Anon.
Oh man, I just found out why he covered up
and that it was only temporary ... ;)
